Research
Applied analyses that take a structural lens to something specific: a company, a market, an institution, a policy.
Research engagements produce a read of the system under analysis, considering where constraints sit, which ones carry the load, and whether a system is in various stages of drift.
Research can be scoped to a single question or expanded to a full constraint analysis across an organization or portfolio.
Workshops
A working session where your team runs its own system through a structural analysis. The workshop is hands-on. You bring the system, and we read and explore the architecture together.
The session identifies load-bearing constraints, scores your system's coherence, and surfaces the structural questions that don't usually make it onto the weekly agenda.
Workshops are designed for leadership teams, strategy offsites, and any room where the people responsible for a system need a shared language for reading it. They work best when the system in question is under some kind of pressure: growth, transition, restructuring, or a shift that nobody can quite name.
Advisory
Ongoing work, customized to the engagement and the system you are running.
Advisory relationships are for organizations or operators that want to work with this lens over time rather than in a single session. The structure varies, with possibilities for periodic check-ins, advising on a specific transition, and more.
The structural read gets sharper the longer it's applied to a system, because constraints shift, coherence changes, and what was load-bearing six months ago may not be today.
The Constraint Engine
The analytical engine behind the applied work. A tool I built to pressure-test a system, score its coherence, and identify which constraints are load-bearing. It can be pointed at a company, a market, a training plan, or a policy – anything with structure that can be read. The Engine is the operational spec for the research, workshops, and advisory engagements above, and it continues to evolve as the work does.
