Wondering Aloud

My essays dig into what I’m curious about, taking a structural lens to markets, AI, character, geopolitics, athletics, pop culture, and more. They arrive twice a month, with shorter reflections on LinkedIn in between.

This is where I stress-test ideas in public, thinking about complexity alongside readers. I don't have all the answers; I have a framework that I think is useful.

The writing is a dialogue about how our operators and systems handle uncertainty, wherever it arises.

It arrives twice a month, and leaving is one click.

On LinkedIn, I look at what’s happening now – in the markets, in the news, in my family – and read it through a structural lens.

When something breaks, drifts, or holds together in an interesting way, I write about it, focusing on the ways constraint architecture, uncertainty, and disorientation appear around us.

I’m interested in how leaders navigate systems that are shifting, where constraint architecture shows up in financial markets, why technology causes a system to endure or collapse, and more.

I care about dialogue, and I want to know your thoughts, too.
